Chelsea: Latest kit sponsor “Infinite Athlete” gets “approved” by Premier League, to sport in the next game against Fulham

Premier League team Chelsea has finally found their jersey sponsor, as “Infinite Athlete” will be presented as their latest addition to both men’s and women’s kits. Premier League board has decided to approve Chelsea’s latest addition, as they finally able to sport something ahead of their shirt.

Chelsea gets new sponsor

Chelsea Football club have been under fire since last season. Owing to a lower mediocre performance last year, and without an European spot in mind, the Blues have endured a horrendous start this season too, as they stand on 14th position, gathering five points from six games, winning one and losing three. After last season, owner Todd Boehly wanted a change in portfolio, thus initiating a complete revamp in the squad, with several top stars leaving Stamford Bridge to pursue different destinations. They had roped in former PSG and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, but it seems that the Argentine is under the scanner since long time, owing to the faltering performances this season, in the League. With the youngest side in the Premier League, it might be safe to say that Pochettino-managed side is struggling to find their groove, and have a tantalizingly difficult fixtures lined up in the next few months.

To surmount their further woes, they had been finding it difficult to find a sponsor for their kit, as they had released a royal blue jersey for 2023-24 season, but without any sponsor. They have looked for several options, after their contract with mobile phone company “Three” had ended last season, and were in dire straits for looking up for someone new. Some previous rejections were made by Premier League, when they had not approved potential sponsorship deals, including betting company “Stake.com” earlier in the season, which was received with huge backlash.

A deal worth 43 million pounds

The new sponsor, Infinite Athlete, has agreed to be Chelsea’s business partner for a deal worth 43 million pounds, Blues’ fans will be able to see it from their next Premier League game against Fulham, as they would be unable to sport it in their Carabao Cup opener against Brighton, as it got too early. It is reported that Infinite Athlete emerged as their latest sponsor in August, when it was established this year owing to a merger Tempus Ex Machina, which signed a seven-year contract with the Blues’ this season.

The sponsorship deal will be a breather for Todd Boehly and Clearlake capital, as they have suffered a lot on and off pitch this season, as they look to stabilize their horrendous start of current season, therefore steadying the ship in order to stay in fray for a top-four finish.
