Jude Bellingham: Real Madrid’s latest recruit steals the show in his second game, scores a brace as Real ease past Almeria

Jude Bellingham seems to enjoy his Spanish fairytale as he has been in red hot form for the “Blancos” recently as last night he scored a memorable brace against Almeria, further assisting his mate Vinicius to round off a superb victory for Real. The 20-year old English star was the talk of the game as he scored the equalizer after Real went down 0-1 within first 10 minutes, before scoring another in the second half to chip off with a comfortable victory.

Jude Bellingham- a star boy in Real Madrid already

Jude Bellingham, the young and talented midfielder from England, who is touted to become one of the next superstars in football, has been on the headlines since a long time. A former Borussia Dortmund star, who rose through the ranks of English football at Birmingham City, has showcased his meteoric exploits in Bundesliga, and also for the national team. Owing to his prolific goalscoring and dribbling prowess, he came in the radar of Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, as the gaffer went for his favorite star in this year’s summer transfer window. And without any surprise, Jude has began to express his special abilities and tactics, thus proving Ancelotti’s decision to bring him on deck to be fruitful.

Although for someone possessing caliber of Bellingham, it would not have been easy to get in the starting line-up for Real, in a team whose midfield repertoire comprises Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Tchouameni, but owing to his exploits, he would have been an easy pick for Ancelotti. Against Almeria, it would have been easy to think that last season’s runners up Real Madrid would maul them, but Sergio Arribas, a recent depart from Real Madrid, hurt them within the opening five minutes owing to a superb cross from Robertone at left wing, as Almeria led the score line 1-0 on the third minute.

Bellingham- he can score and lets others score too

On the 19th minute, Real managed to pull one back to restore parity in the form of Bellingham, but a traditional controversy emerged owing to an allegation of handball to the star, as it seemed that the ball had brushed his hand before he slotted past the equalizer. As the VAR controversy raged on, one more allegation surfaced when it was rumored that Bellingham might have been on the offside position, he had already made it two goals to his tally for “Los Blancos” in two official fixtures, as the officials could not eke out any shortcoming in the goal scoring issue.

Both teams, with their evenly poised score line of 1-1, went to the half-time, thus setting up things for a tense finish. On the 60th minute, Real took the lead in the game once again, courtesy of Jude Bellingham yet again as the England international increased his tally to 3 goals in just his second game. From one midfield maestro to another, as it would have been dubbed, as seasoned veteran Toni Kroos floated the ball into the cross for Bellingham, who sweetly nodded home to give Madrid their much anticipated lead.

The former Borussia Dortmund star also set-up a nice finish for his Brazilian strike partner Vinicius who curled in to the top corner, thus settling the game for “Blancos” as they sit atop the league table with perfect record in two games.
