Paris Saint-Germain Sign South Korean Midfielder Kang-in Lee from Mallorca

Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain have made a brand new deal amidst Mbappe’s unsure future with the club and have agreed to sign the South Korean international midfielder, who played for RCD Mallorca, Kang-in Lee.

After the departure of their star player, Lionel Messi, who flew to America and their MLS to play for Inter Miami earlier in the summer transfer window, the Parisian club had been relentlessly looking to fill the gap in their midfield and were searching for an appropriate left-footed attacking midfielder.

The 22-year-old midfielder has appeared in a total of 39 matches in the Spanish La Liga for his club Mallorca last season and in them, has also scored around six goals and aided seven assists for the club.

This amazing performance and spectacular formed maintained by the South Korean international had caught the eyes of many big players, and attracted offers from some big names across Europe like Manchester United, Atletico de Madrid and also, Aston Villa.

Kang-in Lee to be Lionel Messi’s replacement in PSG

According to the insider reports, Lee had undergone medical tests for the French club back during the international break in the month of June when no one had any idea that the French would ever need the aid of the South Korean.

As per the latest reports, the former Mallorca midfielder has agreed all personal terms and has signed the contract with Paris Saint-Germain for a five-year-long deal. And if the gossips are to be believed then the finishing touches to the transfer deal has already been applied.

Both the clubs, Mallorca and Paris Saint-Germain have made an agreement on the transfer fee over the South Korean midfielder, which is being reported by the sources to be around €22m.

After the arrival of Luis Enrique, Lee would become the fourth signing done in the new era of Parisian football under his guidance. The previous official signings done by PSG are of forward from Real Madrid, Marco Asensio, centre-back Milan Škriniar, and defensive midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

If gossips around is to be believed, French defender Lucas Hernandez is also being expected to join the Les Parisiens in the coming few days.
