Real Madrid Open to Accept Saudi Arabia Offer for Defender Ferland Mendy

La Liga giants, Real Madrid are reportedly expecting to receive lucrative offers from a certain Saudi Arabian club for their French defender Ferland Mendy.

Ever since the Saudi Public Investment Fun has taken control of four of their domestic clubs, the Saudi Pro League has continued their spree of recruiting new players as part of their summer player recruitment drive.

In a shiny move, the former captain of the Los Blancos had also made a move the middle eastern nation to the Al Ittihad club, and it is being whispered that Mendy is all set to follow him to the Arab country.

The French international has already visibly lost his spot in the starting eleven of Carlo Ancelotti’s team in the past 12 months, and it is no secret that the Spanish is open to sell the defender.

The Bernabeu boss, however, isn’t yet keen to remove the French defender from his responsibilities to the club. Nevertheless, the club is still open to a fine offer which is be suitable to the capabilities of the player according to the reports from sources.

As per the release clause of Ferland Mendy with Madrid, it is €250m; however, as per the insider reports, the La Liga club is apparently ready to accept offers of about 10% the original sum.
