Sergio Busquets is the latest inclusion to play in the United States of America after he joined hands with David Beckham owned side Inter Miami. The MLS side has been witnessing one of the dream transfer windows this season after previously they had grabbed the opportunity to sign football legend Lionel Messi, thus Busquets reuniting with his former Barcelona mate.

Sergio Busquets, alias “Busi” as he is fondly called by his teammates and supporters alike has been one of the top players in Barcelona. A true legend to ever don the Blaugrana colors, he has witnessed several ups and downs of the club, and has been an integral part of the Catalans through thick and thin. Recently, he has called curtains over a stellar Barcelona career with nine La Liga triumphs to his name. and has decided to pursue a newer destination for the next season.
Speculations had reported his next destination to be Saudi Arab, as several clubs of the Saudi Pro League were up front to splash some hefty cash on the midfielder. But, Busquets had some other things on his mind as he has decided to play for David Beckham owned side Inter Miami as he wanted to pursue his “American Dream”.

With Busquets going to Miami, he has got the chance to be reunited with his old mate, the football legend and recently crowned World Champion, Lionel Messi. And just like old times, when in Barca colors, both used to swoon over the Camp Nou, now it will be time for the American fans to witness their magic. A dreamy reunion in a dreamland, the Messi-Busquets pair is ready to light up Miami, a place which has garnered lots of praise for its football heritage over the last few years, owing to several top European clubs organizing their pre-season tours in the American soil.
Messi and Busquets has spent 13 years together in Camp Nou, being responsible for several accolades of the club. Jordi Alba, the experienced left back, who also called curtains over his starry Barcelona career could also be tempted to join the Miami side, following Busquets’ departure. The defender has recently ended his contract with La Liga champions Barcelona, which was due to expire in 2024, and could well follow the shoes of his former Barca teammates Messi and Busquets.
